Sony launches color-tailored VAIO E Series laptops
Sony today officially added yet another new VAIO laptop line to its portfolio by launching the VAIO E series. The 15.5-inch laptop has got an extremely customizable design: in addition to the traditional colors like brown and silver, it may come in very such bright, neon colors like "Caribbean green" and "hibiscus pink". What's more, you can tailor the laptop by custom-matching covers for the edge-to-edge keyboard.
For now, just one configuration is available via Sony Style. The system features a 2.13GHz Core i3 CPU, Intel's integrated graphics, 4GB of RAM, a DVD burner and a 500GB hard drive. It's priced at $800. However, it may be upgraded with a 2.4GHz Core i5 and a Blu-ray drive.
The VAIO E series laptops are already available for pre-order, but shipping will start in March.
