Toshiba Portégé M780 gets Core i5, Core i3, support for multitouch

Toshiba has finally taken the wraps off its latest tablet, the Portégé M780, today. The system features a 12.1-inch 1280x800 TrueBright LED-backlit screen and wull come with Intel latest processors Core i5 or Core i3. It's also worth noting that it weighs in at 2kg and carries a onboard DVD burner, together with up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD and WiFi b/g/n. Other  features include Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA and audio in/out, a microphone, webcam s well as a fingerprint scanner.

The system will come with a semi-rugged case and spill-resistant keyboard and Windows 7. Its measures are 305 x 239 x 37.4-39.4 mm. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet.
